This Privacy Policy explains how the Test PYQ mobile app ("Test PYQ", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the app you agree to this policy.
We use your data only to operate and improve the app — to run your dashboard, score your tests, track streaks and progress, deliver notifications you opt into, respond to your feedback, and diagnose crashes. We do not sell your personal data.
Paid papers are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your full card or UPI details — Razorpay handles the transaction and returns only a verified payment confirmation, which our server validates before unlocking content.
Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase. Access is restricted by server-side security rules so that only you (and our support admins, when needed) can read your records.
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account, which removes your profile and exam attempts from our database. Payment records may be retained where required for tax or legal reasons, no longer linked to your identity. You may also email us to request deletion.
If you enable reminders, we use device notifications for daily practice and streaks. You can turn these off at any time in your device settings.
Test PYQ is intended for exam aspirants and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
Test PYQ is an independent practice tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing UPSC, the Bar Council of India, or any government body.
